About Us

Who Can Go to West Hall Baptist Church?

We welcome ANYONE, from ANY walk of life and in ANY stage of life to join our community. We believe that our church is a place for everyone…regardless of where you are right now or what has happened in the past.

Where is West Hall Baptist?

We are located in Oakwood, Georgia at 5314 McEver Rd, just north of West Hall High School.

When Can I Come To West Hall Baptist?

We welcome you anytime the doors are open. We would love to meet you and show you around. We have Bible Study for all ages on Sunday morning at 9:45 and worship at 11:00. We have so many things to offer and we are sure there is something for you!

How Do I Dress To Come To Church?

There is no “dress code” at West Hall. Everyone has their own style, so you will notice everything from suits to slacks and ties to jeans and t-shirts.

How can I join the church?

You can join the church in one of four ways:

By public profession of your faith in Jesus Christ as your savior and believer’s baptism
By moving your membership from another Baptist Church
By statement of faith – that means you have made a public profession of faith and followed the Lord Jesus in baptism.
By Watchcare – this states that you are a believer in Jesus Christ but might not be ready to become a Baptist. You would be enrolled in all of the programs of the church including deacon family ministry.

What denomination are you affiliated with?

West Hall Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and the Chattahoochee Baptist Association here in Hall County. We cooperate with these other churches for missions, training, encouragement and ministry.

How can I or my family join and participate in a small group or Sunday School class?

All classes meet on Sunday morning at 9:45 at the church and we have provisions for all ages. You can join by indicating you wish to be enrolled during a visit in your home, or on a Sunday morning during worship service. Or you can just attend one of the classes and tell them you want to be enrolled if they do not ask you first. We provide study materials and even a Bible if you do not have one.
